DEUTA donates 10,000 euro to the Bethanien Children’s and Youth Village in Bergisch Gladbach

Just a few days before Christmas, we donated 10,000 euros to Bethanien Children’s and Youth Village in Bergisch Gladbach. This represents an important contribution to the facility’s projects and aid programs, which will also be financed by donations through 2024. Our company’s CEO, Dr Rudolf Ganz, emphasized at yesterday’s donation ceremony how together we can accomplish a great deal and provide financial support to the children’s and youth village to deliver assistance services such as animal-assisted therapy and professional development strategies for staff. Having deep roots here, we have a sense of responsibility and are committed to the region.

During the donation ceremony, Children’s Village Director Jutta Menne explained to our CEO Dr. Rudolf Gan: “It will be important to invest in special staff training in the coming year, because working with children in the age of new media is becoming increasingly challenging.” Around 120 children live in the Refrath district who, for a variety of reasons, can no longer be cared for by their biological parents.

We are delighted that we were able to support the Bethanien Children’s and Youth Village for the second time this year and would now like to wish the children and staff a happy and safe holiday season.
