In 2008 TÜV Rheinland carried out its first IRIS Audit at DEUTA-WERKE in Bergisch Gladbach . The certification has just been successfully reconfirmed following the 02 Revision.
At the beginning of December 2011 the IRIS certificate was officially presented to Dr. Rudolf Ganz, Managing Director of DEUTA-WERKE, by Mr. Florian Steiner and Dr. Jochen Gülker from TÜV Rheinland.
Within the scope of an audit, the auditors from TÜV Rheinland first inspected all quality procedures at DEUTA-WERKE.
As a supplier to the rail industry, the company from Bergisch Gladbach was subjected to a special IRIS audit. The international standard was specially developed in line with the high demands of quality management systems in the rail vehicle industry.
IRIS is based on the requirements of ISO 9001 and contains additional rail-specific requirements. The result of the certification is measured on the basis of a compliance rate. DEUTA-WERKE is particularly pleased that the initial high level of attainment could be maintained.
