SmaRT (Smartphone Radar Tool) helps railway operators to
- precisely measure the inclination angle of Deuta radars as mounted under the train
- avoid mistakes affecting the sign of the result
- calculate correction factors
- verify the input of the correction factor into on-board unit (assignment to the correct input channel)
Aspects relevant to privacy or safety:
- The app does not communicate in the background, in neither direction.
- The user, however, may share selected results.
- Neither storage nor transmission is encrypted.
- The app stores user input as default for the next measurement.
