PMU2X Platform

The PMU2X product range is DEUTA’s latest innovation in the field of crash-protected storage solutions for all markets and applications. It enables existing systems to be easily expanded to include crash storage. The PMU2X is compact, lightweight and can be mounted either in a 19-inch rack or on a bracket. It offers scalable, cost-effective protected storage for data and video across multiple standards with minimal space requirements.

The standard connection is a 90 cm USB cable with a 4-pin M8 connector.

The storage capacity can be expanded from 16 GB up to 1.5 TB. Thanks to its compact size, the device can be mounted separately, integrated into a 19-inch rack, or even installed in an event recorder or a network video recorder.

The design is flexible and modular and can be supplied with a range of mounting options and 19-inch rack designs. The PMUs can be used as standalone, protected storage units or integrated into a recorder. The storage unit features a USB interface with multiple connectors and cable lengths.

Both the PMU26 and the PMU26/2 can be easily integrated into new or existing systems. The PMU26 is currently available with a capacity of 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB, with a future capacity of 1.5 TB planned, whilst the significantly smaller PMU26/2 is available with a capacity of up to 1 TB. Both devices feature an integrated Ethernet network interface, making the addition of a Protected Memory Unit simple and straightforward, requiring only minimal changes to existing systems.
