XP 20 Sensor Test Bench

The new XP20 test benches offer totally new possibilities for rail operators, system integrators and customer service employees.

DEUTA’s approach to sensor simulation is a holistic one: the XP20 range consists of test benches for axle mounted generators, pick-up and Doppler radar sensors of which up to 9 devices can be networked and centrally controlled.

With the XP20 test benches, you are testing not only individual sensors but also components in simulation environments.

The XP range consists of the following device types:

• XP 20D (Drive): The stand-alone test bench with integrated operation terminal for axle mounted sensors and pickups is particularly suitable for incoming goods inspection. 
 
• XP 20DS (Drive Service): The service test bench without operation terminal is used along with the remote operation terminal XP20R (Remote) in integration tests or in the laboratory. The remote operation terminal can control up to 9 test benches simultaneously visualising all required information.
 
• XP 20M  (Move): The test bench for radar sensors in rail applications. The XP 20M test bench consists of the control unit which simulates the moving ground providing travel operation and operating a separate transmitter unit. The transmitter unit is the second component of the XP 20M test bench providing the input variable for radar sensor. The device holder for the radar sensor -which should be tested- is also part of the transmitter unit. To operate the control unit the mobile operation terminal XP20R is already included in the scope of delivery of the stand-alone-version XP20M as standard. For the service test bench XP20MS (move service) the mobile operation terminal XP20R can be ordered separately.
