DEUTA-WERKE has reached a decisive milestone with the type approval of MFTS11/25mya with IconTrust granted by the EBA. From now on, this display version is classified as safe standard component in the PZB train protection system. In the project, the DMI ensures the safe display of vehicle actual speed (SIL 3) and of PZB information (SIL 0).
The EBA type approval now allows a shortened approval procedure for further train protection systems since in new projects only speed indication needs to be customised according to project specifications.
