By tradition, the ExpoFerroviaria is an excellent meeting place for players of the Italian railway market and is a fixed date in DEUTA's exhibition calendar.

We continuously aim to support our customers with the latest technology. Thus, we will introduce two innovations this year at the exhibition stand in Turin.

IconTrust is the solution for all TFT displays that must comply with a certain Safety Integrity Level (SIL). This includes driver's consoles in trains, trams or underground, and controlling or controller equipment of railway systems.

IconTrust differentiates between safety-related and non safety-related information. Rectangular windows are configured in IconTrust for screen areas that display safety-critical information. IconTrust monitors more than 130 even overlapping areas simultaneously and independently. Each image refresh cycle in IconTrust generates a corresponding fingerprint for each of the individual areas; the fingerprint is compared with a previously specified code that was determined in advance for the correct presentation of the concrete input quantity. This procedure makes implementation demonstrably safe.

concept offers a completely new multi-functional recorder generation with innovative design and technological progressive functionalities for worldwide travel data recording on rail vehicles. The requirements of global vehicle operators were at the primary focus of the development.

Effi ciency and ease of service form the basis of the REDBOX recorder. DEUTA has integrated a completely new web interface in the new REDBOX generation. A standard web browser provides you with access to your REDBOX recorder and gives you an overview of diagnostics, device status, parameters and confi gurations.

The travel data are stored in the DEUTA REDBOX and the high maximum resolution simplifi es travel data reconstruction. Data can be read out either over USB, Ethernet or W-LAN and analysed with the DEUTA ADS 3 evaluation software.

The appearance and construction of the REDBOX casings set future-oriented standards: from unconventional colouring up to the rich diversity of the casing options. The range of devices includes the data logger REDBOXlog, the REDBOXpro with an optional keyboard and an additional display, the REDBOXfl ex with many interface combinations as well as the REDBOXtop as a combination of a travel data recorder with a legal data memory. The DEUTA REDBOX recorder was developed according to the CENELEC standards Subset 027.
