The new multi-functional recorder: DEUTA REDBOXpro  –

new design, new service concept, new storage concept.

New design, meaning: the compact and space-saving design makes it possible to position the recorder anywhere in the vehicle. The DEUTA REDBOXpro is easy to mount, provides a great number of inputs and outputs and is available with the most diverse vehicle busses in different device models.

The new storage concept is very safe and flexible. The data are stored at the highest resolution on an internal Compact Flash card and can be subsequently read out via USB or Ethernet. The required resolution is decided by the user ‑ even for data from far in the past.

The new service concept saves the user from having to adapt the software to different operating systems, because the service functions are handled using a standard Internet browser.

The DEUTA REDBOXpro provides a convenient keyboard and display combination. The graphical display can present different characters. The 16 keys of the membrane keypad are used, e.g., to enter the wheel diameter, vehicle number or the train driver number. The DEUTA REDBOXpro also assumes distance- and speed-dependent control tasks and functions like "tachometric headquarters". This enables the actuation of the configurable tachometer, mileage recorder and wheel flange lubrication, i.e., the DEUTA REDBOXpro integrates itself perfectly in the system environment of the vehicle.
