DEUTA displays are used worldwide in all types of climates and defy the harshest environmental conditions. No matter whether the enemy is heat, cold, dust or humidity, we develop and manufacture our displays in line with the highest quality criteria, in order to meet all requirements. The basis for this is our systematic analysis of usage, which considers potential risks right from the start. To do this, we conduct a detailed examination of all the influencing factors – external and internal temperature profiles, climatic conditions such as humidity and airborne dust, and test the electromagnetic compatibility of our systems as well.

Components that meet the requirements

The selection of components that are perfectly tailored to their application and environmental conditions is a decisive quality factor of DEUTA displays. Therefore, all components and parts are thoroughly pre-tested for long-term availability and operational fitness. Here are some examples:

For fanless operation, components are tested to determine their minimum power consumption.
The selected processors are subjected to qualification tests, such as environmental stress screening
To rule out the possibility of overheating, the temperature development of the display is measured
Ergonomic factors are tested, such as reading angle, brightness, and contrast of the display
All front-panels must be vandal-proof, and are rigorously tested for this in DEUTA's test laboratory

Furthermore, every DEUTA multi-functional terminal is certified in compliance with EN 50155, and thus meets the rigorous safety requirements for rail and transport technology.
