The built-in pulse sensors or pickups are available in different design types. According to various requirements, they utilize the magnetic, oscillatory or Hall effect. All pulse sensors have in common a robust design and work according to the non-contact principle.
Due to their hermetic sealing and the virtually wear-free operation, these sensors have extremely long service life times. They are designed for detecting e.g. rotational speeds, velocity, distance and direction of travel also under rough environment conditions.
