Expanding the Doppler radar DRS 05 with high speed protection
secures distance and speed measurement under difficult
environmental conditions. Rockfall during the trip over a
trackbed or utilisation during winter trips can complicate the
non-contact measurement. The high speed protection
ensures the measurements remain widely unaffected by
external influences.
The electronics of the DRS 05S1 with high speed protection
do not differ from the DRS 05. Even the mounting points are
identical. Deuta Doppler radar sensors use the Doppler
effect for the non-contact determination of speed, distance
and driving direction. The patented antenna arrangement
measures speeds from 0.2 to 600 km/h.
